Wtf?? is up ?? Article from Haveeru news states that 7 tourists were seriously injured. I first heard rumors about this incident and didn't think it would be true...unfortunately it was.
The bomb seemed to be constructed using a cell phone, nails, gas, and a dimmer. The bomb was remotely triggered by calling the phone, which resulted sever injuries to the surrounded tourists.
Terrorism here too?? What will the effects be on tourism regarding this ? What could be the motive for doing such an evil-deed during the month of Ramadan ?

This is really sad news,Maldivians,depends on tourism and its the first income generating source.We canot survive with tourism..
Maldivians pointed at Sri Lanka and laughed when bombs went off there. I guess there is nothing to laugh about now.

We cannot believe that this has happened. As people who live in England, we are used to events like this. We have visted the Maldives for the last 15 years and want you to know that you are all in our thoughts and we pray that Allah will protect you and keep you all safe.
